Description

Begin your walk from Thorpe Lane, then take Church Lane to St. Mary's Church. Walk through the grave yard to the footbridge, before turning right

Enjoy the beck side footpath past the ancient earthworks and the castle site of Coney Hill, before turning off to the right along field paths in a southerly direction.

Follow path South along drain bank to a small plantation, turn left (eastward) and after passing Keepers Cottage (across field to your right), turn left and walk in a north western direction, following 'Minster Way' signs along fieldpaths to Snowclose Plantation.

Through the wood, follow more field paths to a beck once again passing Coney Hill, this time to your left.

Continue North to Lockington village and turn left to stroll through this historic village and back to Thorpe Lane.
