  • From Beverley Leisure Complex turn left onto Flemingate and then turn left onto St. Andrew's Street.  Turn right and then left around the snickets, emerging onto Minster Avenue.  Turn left at the top of Minster Avenue to enter Long Lane.
  • Cross the road carefully at the snicket which leads onto the estate.  Follow the footpath along Figham Springs Way, bearing left at Dill Drive through the park/play area.
  • Cross the road carefully and follow the footpath up Marsh Drive.  Continue on through the snicket path to Butt Lane.  Walk along Butt Lane, taking care as you cross the busy A164 which divides the lane.
  • At the junction with Queensgate cross the road carefully and then turn right.  Continue along Queensgate and then take Sloe Lane.
  • Turn left at the junction with Cartwright Lane and follow the footpath towards the Westwood.  Upon reaching the Westwood bear left and then find the trodden footpath to the golf club.  Turn left to the quarry works through the kissing gate and continue along the pastures to the next kissing gate on your left.  Pass through the gate and take the stoned track around the perimeter of the quarry.  Pass through the next kissing gate and finally emerge onto Victoria Road, adjacent to Chalk Villas cottage.
  • Turn left here and continue along Victoria Road, bearing left at its junction with Queensgate.  Cross the road at the junction with Butt Lane and continue along, taking care when crossing the busy A164.
  • Continue along Butt Lane and bear left onto the Kitchen Lane footpath which leads to Keldgate.  Turn right along Keldgate and continue back onto Flemingate and the Leisure Complex.
