Description
  • Start at the stone bridge over the river Hull and not the modern steel bridge over the Driffield canal.  Head along the riverbank in a westerly direction until the path leaves the river to pass close to Golden Hill Farm.
  • Continue along the path to rejoin the river and pass the trout farm and the wooded area known as "Otter Island".
  • After about 500 yards you will reach the site of the former "Bobbies Bridge".
  • This is as far as you can go as there is no recorded Public Right of Way across the river here.  Turn and retrace your steps to the starting point.
