  • Walk northward past Fimber village hall, keeping to the left at the fork in the road.
  • Turn right through a kissing gate after a property on your right.  Turn left along the old railway line and walk around its right-hand curve.
  • At the sign for the end of the access land follow the boundary fence to the left.  At the road turn left and walk the few metres to the entrance to the next section of open access land.
  • Keeping to the boundary, head generally southward to the line of an ancient earthwork.
  • Now head eastward to return to your starting point.

Features of Interest
St Mary's church in nearby Fimber was designed by Street and built in 1869-71 in 13th century style. It was built on the site of a Bronze Age burial mound.
