Description
  • From Warter village this walk follows the line of a Roman Road, Cobdale Lane, past Cold Wold Cottages and Cobdale Farm.
  • At Cobdale Cottage it turns right along the Hawold Bridle Road, a track forming part of the Minster Way, a long distance walk which links the Minsters of Beverley and York.
  • This section of the Minster takes us across the Huggate road to a lane where we leave it to turn towards Blanch Farm.
  • ·         AtT Blanch Farm use the diversion to the north of the adjacent wood.

  • A bridleway passes through the farm to wander through the dry valleys of Brig Dale and Lavender Dale before climbing to the road which returns us downhill to Warter.
