  • Leave the Memorial Hall car park and walk up High Street, heading away from Goole.  (You should use the pavement which exists on the left-hand side of High Street for most of the way.)  Turn right onto Ferry Lane and then turn left past the houses which face the riverbank.  Walk until you reach the riverbank and then enjoy a stroll beside the water.  Head back to the Memorial Hall 30 minutes after starting your walk.
  • Retrace your steps until you get near to the houses on Ferry Lane.  At this point, stay on the riverbank and walk towards a footpath which runs between two rows of wooden fences.  As you follow this footpath you will encounter several stiles.  Turn right after the large white house on the riverbank.  Enter onto Water Lane and continue walking until you reach the Memorial Hall.
