Description
  • Leave the Leisure Centre via the footpath in the car park to Aire Street.  Cross Aire Street and walk down St. John's Street and Church Street to the roundabout.  Turn left and cross Stanhope Street using the pelican crossing.  Turn right and then left to walk through the pedestrian precinct.
  • Leave the pedestrian area on the right-hand side, crossing the road near the railway station.  Use the underpass to cross the railway line and turn right onto Pasture Road.  Walk up Pasture Road and use the pelican crossing just beyond Centenary Road to cross over.
  • Walk along Centenary Road until you reach Airmyn Road.  Turn right and walk up this road.  Next use the pelican crossing to cross over and then enter West Park.  When you reach the Park (after 32-34 minutes of walking) you should head back to the Leisure Centre.
  • To return, cross over Airmyn Road and turn right, following the road to reach Centenary Road.  Turn left onto Centenary Road and cross over to turn right onto Clifton Gardens.  When you reach Boothferry Road turn left and walk along this road.
  • You will pass the entrance to Pasture Road and go under the railway line to retrace your steps back to the Leisure Centre.
