Description
  • From the car park take the path along the floodbank in an easterly direction towards the river Trent and Bosomcross.
  • The path bends to the right, almost parallel with the river, to a sluice.
  • Across the sluice turn right and walk the track alongside a drain.
  • You can shorten the four-mile route by taking the link path to the east of Hoggard Lane Bridge.  Alternatively, after about ½ mile on the track by the drain, turn left (southwards) along Ings Lane to walk to Adlingfleet.
  • Turn right and walk into the village.  At the village turn right again and walk along the lane over Hoggard Lane Bridge to return to the start.
