  • Go down the hill leading from the Sports Centre and turn right at the bottom onto Church Street.
  • Walk on until you come to Market Place and Brough Road.  Turn right and you will pass a row of shops.  Take the second right which is signposted 'Stonepit Road'  (the first right is signposted 'Bacchus Lane').
  • As you walk on along Stonepit Road you leave the town behind.  Cross Willow Flats and and turn right after the Flats.  Walk approximately 600/700 metres and then turn right onto Ellerker Lane.
  • Cross Willow Flat again and walk on to reach Water Lane.  Turn right onto Bull Pasture where you will see houses on either side of the path.  Follow this round until you reach Church Street.  Turn right and you will be back at the bottom of the hill leading to the Sports Centre.
