Description
  • Walk along York Road, Market Weighton and, just past the last house on your right, take the kissing gate to head along the fieldpaths of the Wolds Way link path. 
  • At the A614 road go straight across into the grounds of Towthorpe Grange.  Continue through the gate and along the fieldside path to the lane leading to Londesborough.
  • Across the road to the left, a path beside the lodge takes you into Londesborough Park, formerly a deer park.
  • Carry on into the village of Londesborough and bear left to pass All Saints Church.  Follow the road around the corner and take the public footpath on your left.
  • At the lane walk along the signed path opposite, to pass Ox Close Wood, and through fieldpaths into Shiptonthorpe.
  • From here, navigation is no problem - just follow the footway by the A1079 to Market Weighton.
