  • From the church hall car park, cross the street and turn right.
  • Almost immediately enter the former Manor Farm site on your left, and walk straight through to Rectory Lane and Manor Road.
  • About halfway along Manor Road, cross a stile on your left into fields with several stiles and a footbridge.  Go across old smallholdings and a paddock with another stile and footbridge to reach East End Road.
  • Follow the road past several farms until you reach a stile just past East End Farm.
  • Cross the arable field to Lund Garth Farm, where the path leads past the possible site of a 'Lost Settlement' called Colliers Row.  Bear left and walk on to reach Lelley Road.
  • Turn left and walk along the road with care, crossing Sproatley Road.
  • After a further 400 yards, take the footpath on your left and walk around the field edges to Wyton Road near Sandhill Garden Centre.
  • Return to Preston by walking carefully along the road and past the pub.
