HeronThese large grey birds are usually solitary, but often can be seen in small groups feeding close to each other. They nest in groups, known as heronries, in trees. This can seem strange for such a large ungainly bird. When in flight they bend their necks back.
RabbitRabbits are not a native species of the UK. They were introduced from Europe by the Romans as a source of food and were farmed in warrens, escaping into the wider countryside. They cause a lot of damage to crops and natural habitats in some areas.
