Common Blue ButterflyThe most common blue butterfly and can be found across the Wolds where its food plants, bird’s foot trefoil and white clover exist. Like other blue butterflies common blues have a symbiotic relationship with ants that look after the caterpillar, which secretes nutrient rich substances.
PuffinsThis clown like bird is unmistakable. It can be found nesting in the East Riding at Bempton Cliffs and at Flamborough Head.
