What different services for schools, colleges and academies can be provided by Streetscene Services?

Environmental Services, which form part of Streetscene Services, are able to undertake grass mowing and playground equipment inspections on behalf of schools.

Grounds Services

We can provide a grass mowing of school playing fields. This service is provided by our in-house team or by a sub-contractor. We are unable to provide a full grounds maintenance services as this can be labour intensive and extremely costly to provide partly due to the long distances travelling between participating schools. 

Play Inspection Service

We can provide a play ground equipment inspection service at monthly or quarterly intervals throughout the year depending on the requirements of the school. The inspection will include minor repairs to replace shackles, nuts and bolts. All other repairs, including the replacement of damaged equipment would be charged.

What levels of service can I expect?

An individual Service Level Agreement and specification will be discussed between the school and the relevant council officer to ensure the school is getting the service it requires to the standard they expect.
