In order to take your dog, cat or ferret abroad and be able to bring them back to the UK without the need of quarantine, you will need to ensure your pet meets the health requirements to designed to stop the spread of rabies and other diseases.
You should contact your vet to arrange for your pet to be vaccinated and certified for travel. If this is not a service your vet provides, ask them for the nearest that does, or contact the Animal and Plant Health Agency.
