If you receive housing benefit direct for your tenant(s) whether you are a private landlord or social landlord, the landlord portal will allow you to:
- Report a change – notify us of a change in your tenant’s circumstances, for example change to their household or change of address. By reporting changes immediately this reduces any potential overpayments
- Check payments - allows you to check your payment schedule, this gives you a breakdown of the payment including dates and amounts for individual tenants who receive housing benefit
- Review individual tenants claims – check the status of their claim and details of their next payment and housing benefit.
Once you are set up on the portal this will replace the paper payment schedules which you receive.
