Does the council provide training for landlords?

The private sector housing team may provide training and forum sessions to landlords or those who manage property within the East Riding.

What are the course dates for the landlord training?

As part of the Government's Tackling Rogue Landlord Initiative East Riding of Yorkshire Council is hosting a free seminar for residential letting agents and landlords. The aim of the event is to encourage working relationships with local agents and landlords and assist in regulatory compliance, the flyer below provides further information about the event:

Speakers on the day will include Paul Shamplina from Landlord Action who together with a local agent and Local Authority Housing Enforcement and Trading Standard officers will provide advice and updates on associated housing legislation and tenancy issues to enable you to verify your high standards on future visits.

stating your preferred location and names and position of the delegates. The course is aimed at the policy/decision-makers within your organisation and we hope you can attend. Lunch is provided free-of-charge at this event.
